Ghost of Yotei studio Sucker Punch reportedly lays off 26 developers "after carefully observing the challenges in the market"

✍️ What we know so far

Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.

This comes from Eurogamer, which does its own reporting — for now, it's the only coverage. In the 30 days before this one, 16 other Ghost of Yōtei stories ran here. Until somebody signs their name to it, it's talk. Good talk, but talk. Hot off the press — the kind of news that gets the community going.

Bottom line: Safe to take the main point — it's the fine detail that sometimes shifts later.
