Taverna is the virtual tabletop built by the same team behind LuaCat Games. It is not paid advertising: it is our own project, and this page exists to connect the two — the anime you followed here all week can become Friday night’s game.
Map, dice, character sheet and chat sit on one screen, inside the browser, with nothing to install. And no rules are imposed: whoever opens the table builds the sheet fields their game needs — including a game you made up over the weekend.
What this season is asking for
The list below is not our opinion. These are the anime subjects that generated the most stories here on LuaCat Games over the last 90 days. The more people follow a title, the easier it is to gather a group around it.
How a table starts
- Walk into the demo table. No account, no sign-up: it is just so you can see how the screen works.
- Build a character. The anime sheet builder takes about a minute and hands you an image to post in your group chat.
- Open your table or ask for a seat. Every Wednesday there is the house table, open to anyone without a group.
- Invite people with a link. Your friend types a name and is already seated — no account needed to play.
