World of Warcraft: Forever won't destroy what made the old classes so satisfying by modernizing them into oblivion: 'The level of mechanical complexity found in the beta classes is indicative of our intentions'

✍️ What we know so far

Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.

This comes from PC Gamer, which does its own reporting — for now, it's the only coverage. Some people met World of Warcraft in 2004; others were born long after and joined in anyway. In the 30 days before this one, 51 other World of Warcraft stories ran here.

Bottom line: Safe to take the main point — it's the fine detail that sometimes shifts later.
