World of Warcraft: Forever's beta has been extended, as community members mourn the loss of their hunter pets

✍️ What we know so far

Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.

So far only Eurogamer has run it, but that's a newsroom that checks what it publishes. World of Warcraft came out in 2004 and never left: that's 22 years of turning up in every conversation about it. In the 30 days before this one, 45 other World of Warcraft stories ran here.

Bottom line: You can treat this as firm, just keep an eye on updates.
