What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
So far only Eurogamer has run it, but that's a newsroom that checks what it publishes. Battlefield came out in 2002 and never left: that's 24 years of turning up in every conversation about it. The previous Battlefield trailer came out 15 days before this story. You can follow this without buying the whole story.
Bottom line: You can treat this as firm, just keep an eye on updates.
