Quick summary
There's a Midnight Black disc drive, too. Announced overnight, Japan is getting a new PS5 model. But to be clear, it's just the colour that's different here. The console's outer casing, and the DualSense controller that's bundled with the system, are of the 'Midnight Black' variety.
What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
It's coming to PlayStation 5. This comes from Push Square, which does its own reporting — for now, it's the only coverage.
Bottom line: Safe to take the main point — it's the fine detail that sometimes shifts later.
