Sony is reportedly plotting to revive classic PlayStation games, starting with a new Ape Escape from the developers behind Sonic Mania

✍️ What we know so far

Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.

This comes from Eurogamer, which does its own reporting — for now, it's the only coverage. After a spell in the dark, Sonic the Hedgehog won the room back — and gets held to it now. In the 30 days before this one, 22 other Sonic stories ran here. Until somebody signs their name to it, it's talk. Good talk, but talk.

Bottom line: Safe to take the main point — it's the fine detail that sometimes shifts later.
