Quick summary
Executive producer Jun Takeuchi reveals the reworked versions should eventually catch up to the franchise's newer releases.
What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
So far, only Última Ficha is talking about this — if confirmation shows up, it’ll be added here. 30 years after its debut, Resident Evil still starts arguments like it's brand new. In the 30 days before this one, 62 other Resident Evil stories ran here.
Bottom line: Better wait for someone else to confirm before taking it as a given.
