Manga Creator Masako Watanabe Dies at 97

✍️ What we know so far

Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.

So far only ANN Newsroom has run it, but that's a newsroom that checks what it publishes. A loss that hits hard for anyone who follows anime. Our thoughts are with their family, friends and fans.

Bottom line: You can treat this as firm, just keep an eye on updates.
