Quick summary
PS5 and PS4 players taking advantage of PS Plus to play GTA 5 and GTA Online better get their hours in because their days are numbered. GTA 5 is being removed from the PS Plus catalogue just two days before GTA 6’s launch in November.

What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
Headed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The report is IGN's, on its own for now. They usually verify before posting. 29 years after its debut, GTA still starts arguments like it's brand new. Worth remembering: GTA already had a delay announced on 10/14/2026. An announced date is a promise, not a guarantee — and this one has taught that lesson before.
Bottom line: The core of it should hold; if another outlet tells it differently, that shows up below.
