Quick summary
At this point, you can't even open the Steam front page without stumbling over remake after remake (sometimes remasters, just to spice things up). What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
The platforms named are PC (Steam). So far only Rock Paper Shotgun has run it, but that's a newsroom that checks what it publishes. Sonic the Hedgehog was left on the shelf and came back on top — every new announcement carries that weight. In the 30 days before this one, 17 other Sonic stories ran here.
Bottom line: You can treat this as firm, just keep an eye on updates.
