Quick summary
This is fine.png. A game of cat-and-mouse between Sony and hackers is very much underway, as the PS5 has been jailbroken to a massive degree in the past week. Legally we’re walking on thin ice here, but we can report on a new jailbreak which opens up the console, as long as it’s running firmware v7.00 through v13.60.
What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
The platforms named are PlayStation 5. So far only Push Square has run it, but that's a newsroom that checks what it publishes.
Bottom line: You can treat this as firm, just keep an eye on updates.
