New Ape Escape Reportedly in Development at Sonic Mania Team

✍️ What we know so far

Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.

This comes from IGN, which does its own reporting — for now, it's the only coverage. Some people met Sonic the Hedgehog in 1991; others were born long after and joined in anyway. In the 30 days before this one, 20 other Sonic stories ran here. Until somebody signs their name to it, it's talk. Good talk, but talk.

Bottom line: Safe to take the main point — it's the fine detail that sometimes shifts later.
