Quick summary
It's an anomaly. I want to be 110% clear before we properly get into this article: ANOMALITH channels classic Resident Evil , but it’s nowhere near as good. Don’t go into this demo expecting Capcom quality, because you won’t get it. That said, this scrappy little survival horror shooter reminds me of the original…
What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
It's coming to PlayStation 5. This comes from Push Square, which does its own reporting — for now, it's the only coverage. Some people met Resident Evil in 1996; others were born long after and joined in anyway. In the 30 days before this one, 76 other Resident Evil stories ran here.
Bottom line: Safe to take the main point — it's the fine detail that sometimes shifts later.
