Quick summary
On Nvidia's forums, an Nvidia employee claimed that the company will be expanding DLSS 5 support to RTX 40 series graphics cards at some point, but we're probably going to be waiting a while for it.
What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
This comes from IGN, which does its own reporting — for now, it's the only coverage. It’s release news, so jot down the date, just don’t bet everything on it: these things move around a lot.
Bottom line: Safe to take the main point — it's the fine detail that sometimes shifts later.
