Quick summary
A body shape change feature will be included in Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced. Karia’s body shape will change depending on how much she eats while snacking. However, this is optional. If the feature is turned off, her body shape won’t change, so feel free…

What we know so far
Automatic note by LuaCat Games, built from what we know about the coverage (who reported it, how many sites, the story’s history) — not a translation or copy of the source.
Nobody besides Nintendo Everything has reported this yet — we’re keeping an eye out for confirmation. Atelier came out in 1997 and never left: that's 29 years of turning up in every conversation about it. The previous Atelier trailer came out 26 days before this story.
Bottom line: Can’t call it yet — wait for more outlets to confirm before counting on it.
